What Luxury Means to Me
The term luxury has become increasingly popular in the findom femdom world, and from the very beginning of my journey, I’ve identified myself as a luxury domme. It’s always been a core part of my brand, my energy, and how I carry myself. But I’ve never truly shared what that word means to me. Because luxury isn’t just about logos or surface level aesthetics. It’s deeper than that. More intentional. More rare. More sacred. This is what luxury means to me.
Luxury absolutely can be material.
It can look like designer heels, handbags, and couture. It can be the high rise apartment overlooking the hills, the chauffeur waiting downstairs, the private shopping experiences behind velvet curtains. It’s the exclusive, invite only events… where entry isn’t granted by who you are, but by how much you’ve spent. It’s La Mer skincare, cashmere robes, the unmistakable scent of a signature fragrance that costs more than most people’s rent.
I love the physical and indulgent side of luxury. I always have. Even before this life… before the lifestyle, before the clients, before the wealth… I was captivated by it. I used to be a Tumblr girl, completely immersed in that world of dark, moody luxury. I would spend hours scrolling through perfectly curated images of opulence, elegance, and power. Something in it always called to me. It wasn’t just about things… it was about taste.
I live for it. I still do. I believe in investing in quality, in surrounding myself with beauty, and in choosing only the best. Because when your standards are high, your life rises to meet them. And while material luxury may just be the first layer, it’s an important one. It reflects care, discernment, and a refusal to settle.
Luxury Is Time
Aside from the material, luxury is time. Time is one of the most overlooked forms of wealth… and yet, it’s everything. For many, it’s incredibly rare. But for me, it’s part of my daily reality. Being able to control my schedule, to say no, to choose slowness in the morning… that’s luxury. If I want to get up and start my day, I will. If I want to stay in bed for another two hours, I can. I get to pick the speed at which I live. And that kind of freedom? That’s more valuable than any designer item.
There’s a quote I once saw: “If you need the watch to tell time, you can’t afford it.” It stuck with me. Because it speaks to the core of what I believe… luxury isn’t about needing, it’s about choosing. I don’t check the time in a rush to be somewhere. I check it because I’m aware, intentional, and in control of my pace.
I don’t rush. I don’t overextend. I’ve built… and continue to build… a life where I can create, rest, and move through my day exactly as I please. That’s not just preference. That’s the standard. That’s the foundation of real luxury: a lifestyle designed entirely around my needs, my rhythm, and my pleasure.
Luxury Is Health
I made a post about this recently that resonated with a lot of people… which I’m really glad about. Because it’s something I live by. Let me quote it here:
Because the truth is: there is nothing luxurious about being unwell. I don’t care how expensive your shoes are…if your mind is anxious, your gut is inflamed, your sleep is broken, your skin is dull, and you’re running on caffeine and chaos… that’s not wealth. That’s survival dressed in designer.
To me, luxury means taking care of my body. Nourishing it with the highest quality food. My weekly grocery bill probably exceeds what most Australians spend in a month… and I’m proud of that. I don’t eat anything low-quality. I invest in what fuels me, heals me, sustains me.
I have wellness rituals. I take supplements. I prioritize sleep. I do my skincare slowly and intentionally. I get the blood tests. I book the scans. I pay for top tier private health cover. I invest in the invisible… the things that don’t always show up in photos, but are felt in every cell of my body.
Health is wealth. Health is luxury. There is nothing more luxurious than waking up with energy, clarity, vitality, and strength. There’s nothing more luxurious than having a body that can keep up with the lifestyle I’m building.
And if you’re a sub who’s lucky enough to support that lifestyle? Remember: it’s not just the bags and the trips. It’s the blood work, the massages, the organic produce. That’s luxury too.
Luxury Is Peace
Luxury is also the absence of certain things: stress, chaos, noise, drama. Peace of mind, clarity, stillness… that’s priceless. And I protect it at all costs. Because without peace, nothing else holds. A quiet mind and a calm nervous system are the foundation that allows everything else to flourish. No bag, trip, or dollar amount can compensate for inner unrest.
I don’t allow negative energy in my world. I don’t tolerate people who disrupt my peace… no matter how long they’ve been around. The version of me I’ve built is too valuable, too tuned in, to be pulled back into anyone’s noise.
And if you’re intuitive… truly intuitive… you can feel the difference. You can tell when someone isn’t at peace, even if they’re saying all the right things. Something will feel off. Their energy will be jagged, reactive, grasping. Peace has a texture to it. It’s soft, quiet, powerful. It doesn’t need to prove itself.
But peace isn’t something you wake up with one day.. it’s something you build over time. It comes from intentional living, from setting boundaries, from daily rituals, from emotional regulation, from consistency. It’s the result of knowing yourself deeply and refusing to abandon that self for anything or anyone.
For me, that’s luxury. It’s being able to wake up and feel calm in my body, clear in my mind, and steady in my purpose. And every aspect of my life… from the way I speak to the way I decorate my space… reflects that peace. Because real luxury doesn’t scream. It glows.
Final Thoughts
So yes… luxury can absolutely look like designer bags, a suite on the Ritz yacht, a wardrobe curated to perfection. But it also looks like boundaries. Like clear skin, clean energy, slow mornings, and a strong sense of self. Luxury is not just about what you have… it’s about how you live.
And for those who are given the privilege of contributing to my luxury, understand this: you’re not just paying for a thing. You’re investing in a standard. In a lifestyle. In a ritual of excellence. Every send, every gesture, every offering supports the preservation of a world where quality, peace, health, beauty, and power coexist… flawlessly. That is luxury. That is my luxury.
